INNOVATIVE AND COMPETITIVE ECONOMY

The company KNIOCH Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. is implementing a project under Action 1.5 Strengthening the competitiveness of enterprises, Sub-action 1.5.2 Strengthening the competitiveness of key areas of the region's economy of the Wielkopolska Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020 titled: "Development of the company KNIOCH Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. by increasing innovation and competitiveness through investment in the construction of a new plant in Środa Wielkopolska and the implementation of product, process and organisational innovations" under grant agreement no. RPWP.01.05.02-30-0282/18-00.

Project description: The subject of the project is the implementation of an investment consisting of the construction of a new plant, the acquisition of fixed assets in the form of technologically advanced machinery and equipment, as well as the implementation of software dedicated to individual activities and created on the basis of an original concept of KNIOCH Sp. z o.o., Sp. k..

Project objectives: The implementation of the project will strengthen the competitiveness of the company by:

a. construction of a new plant,

b. acquisition of new machinery, equipment and ICT technologies,

c. implementation of product, process and organisational innovations, including those resulting from own R&D work,

d. diversification of the offer

Planned outcomes: The following indicators are planned to be achieved:

1. Increase in employment in supported enterprises: 3 FTES.

2. Number of product innovations introduced: 2 units.

3. Number of process innovations introduced: 2 pcs.

4. Number of non-technological innovations introduced: 2 pcs.

Total project value: 15 343 020,00 zł

European Funds contribution: 3 609 900,00 zł

Firma KNIOCH sp. z o.o. sp.k. is implementing a project co-financed by the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund as part of the Wielkopolska Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020, Priority Axis 1: Innovative and competitive economy, Measure 1.5. Strengthening the competitiveness of enterprises, Sub-measure 1.5.2 Strengthening the competitiveness of key areas of the region's economy named "Development and improvement of the competitiveness of the company Knioch Sp. z o.o. Sp.k. through an investment realised in Środa Wielkopolska and involving the purchase of an innovative technological line and software to integrate company management processes".

The aim of the project is to implement and apply the results of the R&D work carried out; to implement innovative product, process, organisational and marketing solutions and to increase employment in the company. The innovations introduced will make it possible to adapt to current market trends and buyers' needs and increase the level and geographical scope of sales, technologies will increase productivity and production capacity, enable the production of new and improved products and the provision of new and improved services, reduce costs, enable streamlined business operations, effective marketing activities, reaching a larger audience and serving them perfectly.
